You can also have an option for this to get IPs targeting different countries, cities, or even ZIP code-level locations. Ideal if you want to collect accurate eBay regional data. By changing IPs over time, they help distribute requests more naturally across different sessions. Rotating residential proxies can also be used for account management when static ISP proxies don't cover the required location.  But if you go that route, sticky sessions with consistent location and ASN targeting are necessary to replicate the behavior of a fixed connection. Without that consistency, the session pattern looks closer to someone actively cycling IPs than a real user returning to their account from the same home connection. Mobile Proxies While residential proxies use IPs tied to households. Mobile proxies, on the other hand, use IP addresses assigned by mobile carriers. Usually, they rely on Carrier-Grade Network Address Translation (CGNAT). Meaning, for each public IP address, many of you have a chance to share it at different times. That makes them look more like normal consumer traffic than datacenter IPs. But besides, mobile proxies are great options for eBay automation that relies on collecting buyer-facing pages, such as live listings and availability across different markets. Each account gets its own fixed IP tied to the market it operates in. You can use a US residential ISP IP for a US seller account, or a UK account gets a UK one. That separation keeps each of your accounts' network identities independent.

Most free residential IPs come from peer-to-peer or heavily shared networks, where the same IPs may be used by many unknown users for many unknown activities. Because of that, the IP you get may already have a poor reputation before you even use it. That can make free residential proxies a risky choice for eBay, especially if you want a stable connection for browsing, automation, or data collection. If cost is the main concern, a better option is to use a reputable provider’s free trial or starter plan instead. That gives you access to managed residential IPs with location targeting and session control, while still letting you test your eBay workflow before committing to a larger plan.
